The ultimate cuff bracelet watch…
Some watches simply weren’t made to be just watches. With its
oversized, ultra-flat, super convex case, the Circle is the perfect
example of a watch meant for more.
It literally envelops women’s wrists like a cuff bracelet, the ultimate
cuff bracelet…
Despite measuring 52 millimetres in diameter and being 7 millimetres thick, the case, which comes in three different colours of gold set with diamonds on an elegant bezel, is anything but imposing. On the contrary, it is extremely light and seems to float in space.
With its Frédéric Piguet simple quartz calibre displaying hours and minutes in the centre, the Circle is nevertheless a ‘complicated’ watch with its characteristic case, a feat of technical complexity. This complexity can mainly be seen in its specially designed curve, despite its extra-thin yet straight calibre, and in the lack of material considering the reduced proportions of the bezel. Lightness incarnate.
Linear dials that perfectly follow the curve of the case constitute yet
another technical feat that adds to the beauty of the piece.
The case and dial available in several versions in lacquered, polished, satin-finish or opaline gold with simple, double or jewel-set markers and an alligator strap with a tongue buckle make for a harmonious whole.
The Circle, delightful ambassador of Guy Ellia, recognisable by its logofree dial, boasts an engraved back signed with a diamond topping the ‘i’ in Ellia and a diamond cabochon on the winding button.
