For his new Jewellery collection, presented exclusively at the fair in Basel, Guy Ellia draws inspiration from renowned palaces worldwide. These unique residences and structures represent extreme
luxury, refinement and relaxation’. As the saying goes, time is luxury, so take a moment to indulge in the new Guy Ellia collection.
Majestic line: Against the spectacular backdrop of the Côte d’Azur, so conducive to encounters, what could be more fitting than paying tribute to love with a jewellery line displaying multiple hearts? Different sized hearts play on the contrast of black and white in very modern materials, mammoth ivory and ebony, or the colours of the Mediterranean, with turquoise. Worn long or in two tiers, the Majestic necklace will seduce all romantic women.
Puerta del Sol line: Evoking the torrid heat of Spain, this grandiose edifice at the gates of Madrid gives rise to the Puerta del Sol collection, inspired by large tropical flowers. Mother-of-pearl sprinkled with diamond dewdrops provides a dazzling contrast to the ebony.
Crystal Palace: Built in Hyde Park for the 1851 World’s Fair, this sumptuous glass exhibition palace burned down in 1936. Today, Guy Ellia evokes this legendary structure with round pieces in mother-of-pearl
and ebony accentuated with his favourite precious stone, diamonds. Like crystal, mother-of-pearl plays with refracted light, while the various types of gold recall the spectral colours of the edifice.
With his new Palaces collection, Guy Ellia breaks new ground in his creative approach with a more accessible collection inscribed in the fashion trends of today. To underline the sensual movements of the feminine form, he has created long necklaces recalling the elegant women who frequented World’s Fairs and the palaces of the Côte d’Azur at the turn of the 20th century.
His preferred material, mother-of-pearl, evokes the pale light of morning at the seaside. He has always been intrigued by this material and has paired it with diamonds since the early days of his jewellery
collections. Ebony and mammoth ivory, ancestral materials, make a longawaited comeback in this undeniably fashionable collection and has paired it with diamonds since the early days of his jewellery
